Raw skin between breasts

Hello,

I'm currently pregnant and they've ahem grown quite a bit and it's caused the skin between to become really inflamed and sore. Even my just speaking toddler exclaimed they were hot when he put his hand down there.

What's the best thing to put on them?

I've tried normal moisturiser and talcum powder but not much is helping. It's really starting to sting

Thank you

Best thing in the world is Sudocrem. Takes the stinging away straight away and heals the rawness.

Have you changed bra? Sounds like it could be rubbing.

Sunnysidegold · 23/06/2019 07:15

Hi OP. could it be a fungal infection? I had this under my breasts a while ago and just kept putting talc on until I mentioned it to my mum and she said it sounded like thrush - apparently it's not that unusual.

My GP gave me a cream and it cleared up quite quickly. Make sure you wash your bras properly so you don't keep getting it.

Hope this helps.

No I haven't changed bras, I'm wearing soft maternity ones.

It could be thrush? I try and make an appointment at the doctors, it's usually a 10 day wait for non urgent so will try Sudocrem in the meantime.

Definitely sudocrem until it heals. I had to wear deodorant (the cream/stick type I found best) under and between mine the whole time I was pregnant and BF to stop this happening.

Boots do medicated talc which will help.

If it is thrush all you need is to buy caneston or any other anti fungal cream and apply a thin layer a couple of times a day. That will do the trick. I have had this a couple of times. Athletes foot cream also does the job as basically also just an anti fungal if that is all you can get. Any supermarket should have that.

or even better Bepanthan. Softer than
Sudafed and I always find more effective.

I have all these things, maybe I create a super cream with them all together
