Double buggy or not?

I have a 3 and 4 year old. 4 year old is in nursery has special needs but is able to walk but he does things like sit on the floor and cries several times but not for long periods of time. The 3 year old likes to walk but cries within 10 mins saying his legs hurt. He walks with his legs and toes turned in. I'm not 100% sure if his legs really do hurt or if it's just that he does not want to walk.

At the moment I used a single buggy and a baby carrier on my back. I could carry on doing that but it is hard getting him on and off my back. Or I could buy a really cheap double buggy. I don't want to use a buggy board as I don't like the leaning over and cant fold the buggy with the board on it.

I honestly wouldn't. You have 2 children who can both walk, most 3 and year olds will complain they don't want to if they know they have the option not too. However as their is no real reason why they cannot walk I would focus on ditching the buggy completely and encouraging them to walk and saving yourself money and stress and back ache in the long run.

I kind of agree but I'm just not sure if ds3 is in pain or not.

I would get a double, it sounds like you are struggling. Don't get a super cheap one as they tend to be heavy. Look for a out n about double. They do sell well second hand but you may get a bargain. They are easy to push even with large toddlers

My friend has 2 kids close together who are older and she uses the joie twin buggy. It's smaller than most twin prams. It's the one that you can change the liners pink and blue and Argos sells it for around £150. It's easier to push with heavier kids because it's lightweight.

Before you decide anything take ds3 to get checked out.

Would they even fit in a buggy much longer?
How much walking do you do?
Would a bike trailer be an option?

A double buggy with a 3 and 4 year old in will probably be really hard to push. Two of my children are 18 months apart, and the older one is disabled and unable to walk. I used to have them in a double buggy until the younger one turned 3 and could walk well and it was ok when they were younger but got really hard work!

What about a scooter or balance bike for the younger one?

Whatever gets you through the day. Get a cheap one and see if it works.
