Soft food diet: suggestions?

I'm ridiculously fed up of eating soft food, but having a blinking horrendous flare up of tmjd.

I can't really chew, as I can only move my jaw in one direction. I can manage to sort of chew, but fairly ineffective...Soft toast with butter and no crust, yes. Pizza, no chance.

I don't eat cream or cheese, it makes me ill.

I've been living on weetabix as a soft fibre source, yoghurts, mashed potatoes or veg, and soft pasta I can squish easily.

I really dislike soup, but if anyone had any other ideas of things to eat, please please please offer the suggestions...it's been a month, and I am eating less and less. I'm overweight, so not a huge issue, but not healthy.

Thank you.

Soft boil an egg. Get a slice of bread and crumble it up. Break the soft boiled egg over the broken bread. Mash it all up together and add salt and pepper etc accordingly.

Use organic eggs for a better taste.

Veggie or dhal curry and rice or naan bread
Mixed bean chilli
Fish cakes
Baked salmon with sweet chilli sauce or a cod fillet topped with mango chutney and grilled.
Fritata
Falafels
Fish pie
Shakshouka
Savoury pancakes with thinly sliced garlic mushrooms

You kind people. Thank you so much. It's surprisingly miserable having limited food options. I will go and have a look at them now. Fab ideas.

Thank you :)

I obviously don’t know how advanced your joint disease is or what treatment you’ve explored but manual therapy like Chiro/osteo can dramatically help with TMD. Hope it improves soon!

Creole rice with burnt peppers tastes amazing and very comforting.

Paella, if you are selective on the ingredients.
