Will a 2yo notice if their sibling gets more presents?

DH's brother has two children aged 6yo and just turned 2yo. We're about to meet the DC for the first time (they live overseas and are over here for a visit). We've bought the 6yo some colourful stationery comprising 4 individual smallish things, and bought the 2yo a single, larger toy. Will the 2yo have enough awareness to see their sibling receive their gift and think why has sibling got "more" things and get upset? Even if their own gift is physically bigger? I have no experience of small children and this thought has only just occurred to me. We've spent the same amount on both DC.

I doubt they would notice but to avoid the possibility, you could put the 4 small items into one box to open. They then have 2 gift each.

Gah 2 gift each!

Omg 1 gift!

That sounds like a good idea, thanks. Seems trivial I know but I'd hate to upset the little one.
