What is the meaning of this

Somebody referred to me as a "yummy mummy" the other day because I am raising my DCs bilingual.
Their dad is English and I am from abroad so we are using our native tongues.
I am still Hmm about it and not entirely sure what this person meant as I though yummy mummy meant pretty and I think now that can't be (not only I am not pretty, that sentence wouldn't make sense in the context this person used it)

I am sad and feel judged but not sure if it means something good? Clutching at straws Sad

If it is negative, why say something like that Sad yet another reason for me to feel not wanted here Sad

ah she not even fluent in one language :) I always thought yummy mummy" , meant someone who always wore makeup went to keep fit & went out to coffee shops to meet other yummy mummies - & usually got back to pre pregnancy weight within minutes of birth (& presented themselves on my door step (use to be child minder) looking like a model with their dc (not jealous at all! seriously I loved the dm as much as the dc!)

She has tried to call you pretentious or try-hard (for speaking to your own kid in your own language!!). But she hasn't quite managed to do this, because she didn't know the right word for it.

Which is a bit ironic, when you think about it...

Yeah, they weren't using the term correctly. Probably just jealous that you are able to do that but it would be blindingly stupid of you not to - can you imagine how annoyed your kids would be when they are older and realised you didn't bother to teach them your native language when they were young enough to process it to the best of their ability.

Aha!
Plot thickens 🤭
Possible explanation. A colleague who witnessed the comment has told me that she is in a mood because apparently a costumer gave good feedback about us and complained about her being rude and "entitled" 🤭
Maybe I am not yummy after all Wink

Don't let it get to you. She is clearly a twat in whatever language you choose.
