Sleeping sans pjs

I always do this, even in winter. I use pjs as sort of casual night time clothes then strip off for bed. My kids are only 3 and under so don't give it a second thought but I'm thinking I'll need to cover up eventually. Maybe need to is the wrong phrasing but I don't want to traumatise them with the sight of my enormous saggy norks

Anyone else transitioned to pjs? Or maybe a lock with a dressing gown at the ready is more realistic? The thought of wearing clothes in bed actually makes me feel a bit claustrophobic Blush

I started wearing a t shirt when I had DS otherwise I was cold during night feeds. I can't stand pj bottoms or knickers on at night though. I think ill just get a longer t shirt. I still prefer being naked though!

You have an ideal opportunity here to demonstrate that in the right circumstances there is nothing wrong or sexual about bodies.

Mum and Dad didn’t cover up in front of us and my sister and I got to our 40s without being traumatised. If anything, aside from our early teens it made us more relaxed about our bodies too.

why not just wear a dressing gown when you need to and still sleep in the nude - i'm assuming your kids aren't sleeping in the same bed as you so it shouldn't really matter

@StarlightLady I agree , I don't believe there is anything wrong with bodies but I didn't see my parents naked and feel quite happy with that so would like to give my children the same experience. I wouldn't judge others.

My youngest slept in with me last night which is what made me think to start the thread. I breastfed her to 18 months and she's still a baby really so no issues at the moment. I was thinking older when it might make them uncomfortable but I've no idea what age that would be
