How old were your kids when they stopped believing in the tooth fairy?

I told my 11 year old last night as I thought with him going to secondary in September he really needed to know. He was actually quite happy to know but this morning I’m feeling guilty. Please tell me your kids were much younger and I haven’t been really cruel!

Yes mine were much younger.

After the eldest lost three teeth within a week and I said don't lose any more I'm running out of pound coins...oops. She was probably 7 or 8 and the youngest was 6 or 7 at the time (eldest is 9 now). We all still pretend though Grin.

I’m the same.
My youngest is 11,has autism and is very immature.
Still believes in Father Christmas, tooth fairy and thinks elf on the shelf is real.
Going to have to break it to him before high school.

I didn't realise children actually believed in the tooth fairy!

DD worked it out recently (she's 8) DS1 and DS2 were probably a bit older 9/10.
I did have a conversations with one of DS's friends last year in year 7 and he still believed in the Easter Bunny! (we've never done that one).
