Clear orange drink

I’ve just read the rules of the secondary school DS is going to in September and have seen they are only allowed water to drink and have to use clear bottles.

DS currently does not drink water, only orange flavoured drinks or chocolate milkshake.

He has ASD and just won’t drink plain water, he also has a kidney condition so needs to drink.

Does anyone know of any orange flavoured clear squashes that I can add to water? Secondary school is going to be a huge battle and the drink situation isn’t one I’m willing to fight right now!

I’m not sure about orange flavoured squashes but I know Lidl do an orange flavoured spring water which you can buy in multipacks of smallish bottles?

Mine take the flavoured water. X

Flavoured water is fine as long as it’s just orange, ones I’ve found seem to be orange and peach or other combinations.

Get a doctors note.

Simples.

Sometimes they pronounce these rules on induction days and they're not quite as strict when you actually start. Also they should be making appropriate adaptations for pupils with additional needs.

I think the brand is perfectly clear that does orange.

Thanks all , have some brands to look for.

I agree that a doctors note or making reasonable adjustments should suffice but that relies on everyone who teaches him to accept he’s allowed. At his next EHCP meeting I will get it written in but not all staff read them.
