I've got a 22 month old and a baby due in 15 weeks. Do I get a buggy board or a double pushchair?

It depends how mobile your (nearly) 2 year old is. They may get bored of a buggy board very quickly at that age and either want to get in the pram with the new baby or walk. Depends how far they'll be expected to walk if they don't like a buggy board really.

Can you get a buggy board with a little seat? I have seen local childminders with them and they look much better than the standing ones.
Although, if you walk a lot and your oldest still naps, a double would probably be handy. Maybe the top and bottom style so baby can go in the top when your oldest gets more reliable at waking?

personally i would get the joovy caboose. it has a seat at the back for toddlers that doubles as a buggy board

There was a thread in this just the other day. My kids are 20 months apart and push chair was tricky to use with my oldest on a buggy board. Plus they do get bored and tired and it only works for short distances. I found in a busy area better to have them both contained in a double buggy. Check the width though some are hard to get through shop doors.

There's 18 months almost to the day between my two. I just used the single pushchair and carried the baby in a sling. When the younger one got too big for the sling, they had the pram/pushchair and the older one walked.
This was 20 odd years ago though and, afaicr, double buggies were less common.
And I did seem to specialise in small babies Smile
