NSPCC statement and Monroe's response. Ambassador, Campaigner?

Trying to work out what's gone in with Monroe Bergdorf and the NSPCC.

IF someone is invited to be an Ambassador by the charity what would that entail?
If they were invited to be a Campaigner, again what would that actually mean?

Have the NSPCC backtracked on an agreement with Monroe or was there no agreement in the first place? I find the statement released by the charity confusing

^NSPCC Statement
Munroe Bergdorf has supported the most recent phase of Childline’s campaign which aims to support children with LGBTQ+ concerns. Munroe has been referred to as a Childline Ambassador. At no point has she been an Ambassador for the Charity. She will have no ongoing relationship with Childline or the NSPCC. The NSPCC does not support, endorse or authorise any personal statements made by any celebrities who contribute to campaigns. Childline is available to children without condition to provide support whatever the nature of their concerns.^

So Monroe has supported the most recent phase but does that mean has been a campaigner? An advisor?

I'm seeing lots of anger about Monroe having any involvement with NSPCC at all, lots of anger at the statement and trying to find the wood amongst the trees.
