Hi .I m new to posting in this group.
I am 32..And TTC for 1 year..I have had 4 consecutive chemical pregnancies in last 5 months...Every time 8 to 9 dpo I have sign of conceiving and test to get a positive but start my periods 2 days late.
All my blood reports are normal.i m really devastated..
Any advise for me..Should I give myself a break before trying ..

Stop testing early. It just screws with your head. Wait until 14dpo and test then or if you miss your period.

Hi @Koolkanika24 - I'm so sorry, that must be heartbreaking and very frustrating for you.

There are a couple of things that might be worth trying - low dose aspirin being one (75mg daily) as this can help implantation and blood flow (apparently clots can cause early losses sometimes). Also a steroid called prednisolone or prednisone taken in small doses can help but of course this needs to be prescribed by your doctor.

Are you in a position to see a private fertility consultant for some advice? Usually about £150 for a consultation.

Hi RedPandaFluff...I am on baby aspirin since past 2 cycles..Though my progesterone levels were normal still I was put on progesterone supports..But nothing seems to work..My doctor says I need to give a break..But I m not quite convinced...Already age us a factor against my fertility

The next step is a direct IVF my doctor says..But it's a difficult path...As I m already conceiving not maintaining pregnancy..I can't take the pain of failed ivf now..

When I was TTC, every month I had really strong 'pregnancy symptoms'. Except 'pregnancy symptoms' are pretty much exactly the same as the onset of your period. Cramps, tender breasts. Emotional.

It messes with your head.

Stop testing so early. Ask yourself - how is it helping?

It's not helping. At all.

Koolkanika24 · 08/06/2019 08:59

Ya may be I should stop testing so early...I would try not thinking this time..May b this month I would not try hard though I would not try preventing it either..

What age are you, @Koolkanika24? I'm wondering if egg quality is a factor - if so, IVF might help, because they'll only transfer the best quality blasts from however many are produced during the process.

RedPandaFluff · 08/06/2019 09:06

Oh sorry - you're 32! I just re-read your OP. That's not exactly old, I would have thought your eggs would be fine.

I still reckon a private consultation at a fertility clinic is the way forward.

Koolkanika24 · 08/06/2019 09:08

Or may b I should go for ivf straight...Rather than playing this uncertainty game every time.can't decide..

My fertility doctor has given me this option..I am already under treatment as I don't ovulate on my own...I always ovulation by letroz...That's a fertility drug

In that case, go for it, see what happens? I understand why it would be hard though - chemical pregnancies are awful, you get your hopes up and then it's snatched away.

But as I mentioned, if you get some good quality blastocysts, it might just work. Would it be NHS treatment?

Koolkanika24 · 08/06/2019 13:49

I would find that out...Not very sure...Would keep u guys posted whatever is the update..Would need support..It's always better to have someone to listen..

This forum really helped me through all four of my cycles - you'll get lots of support and learn so much from others experiences. Good luck!
