Reusable Sanitary towels

Any recommendations for where to buy?

I've seen some on Amazon with good reviews but they're so cheap (£15 ish for 6) compared to other brands I've seen advertised.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for either and how many I'd need.

Any advice gratefully received.

I use Baba+Boo, mainly because it's a brand I'm familiar with as I use their reusable nappies on my little one. I have 4 night time ones and 6 day time ones. I do have a very short period though only 2/3 days. I will be buying some more at some point.

£15 for 6 sounds quite cheap, which would make me question the quality. Personally I'd rather pay more for better quality if I knew they were going to last.

£15 for 6 is cheap, but not unreasonably so ime, could you send a link?
How many you'd need is depends in quite a few different things, how long and heavy is your period, are pads your only form of protection or will you use internal protection as well, do you like to change every time you go to the loo or do you prefer to change only a few times a day?
I use reusable pads and a menstrual cup, and my period is quite light so I change my panty liner once a day, just before bed, and more if I've leaked heavily on it (which is very rare now, I've been using them for about 4 years) so I get through maybe 6 on a period, and I have a couple spare. As general advice though, look at the disposables you tend to prefer, and try to get something the same length and shape. If you have sensitive skin down there it might also be worth considering the top fabric, some are stiffer than others, some more or less breathable, etc. As a final tip (for now anyway) I'd recommend a pad with PUL, it's waterproof which means you won't leak through the back of it, which will be very useful while you're working out how much your pads can hold.

I use imse vimse pads. I've tried several different brands and these are my favourites. They are not thick and bulky, stay put in my knickers, wash well and dry fairly quickly. I've used them monthly for around six years and they are not showing any signs of wearing out.

I have some from amazon and I think they were about that price. Sort of a beigey colour with a vaguely floral print?

If so they are awesome, I've had them about 4 years and wear them as backup on heavy days with tampons and on their own on the light days at the end of a period. I also used them when heavily pregnant and sneezing was risky Blush they still look as new.

I've never rinsed them, just folded and used the popper to keep them in a nice little bundle until they go in the wash. They dry really quickly which is handy. I've also never had one leak which amazed me on a few occasions.

Only issue I've ever had is sometimes they shift a bit but never enough to be an issue and weirdly it only seems to happen when my periods practically over and I don't really need them any more.
