Worth a trip to Primark?

DD had shot up out of nowhere, literally nothing seems to fit at the moment so I need to replace pretty much everything.

Is it worth a trip to Primark for basics like leggings/tshirts/underwear or is it just as cheap to buy online from the likes of George or peacocks?

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes that go in primark. I find it very chaotic and often cheap looking. There is sometimes the odd nice thing though.
I've just bought my 3 lots of stuff off eBay and I always get their leggings from Asda or occasionally Sainsbury's. Dd12 only likes black leggings 🙄 Dd10 is happy with colours and prints still. LO has trousers from Next.

Dd12 has dreadful fashion sense if her dad's gf lets her choose anything. A godawful fake leather biker jacket that hangs off her being the latest addition. Thankfully clothes from her dad's are never worn here. I had a beautiful biker jacket in my teens. A proper one that cost £70 in 1991 and lasted me from 14-19 and saw many a fun journey on the back of boyfriend's bikes. Monsters of Rock gigs. Ah those were the days! I've no objection to the style of jacket but because it doesn't fit it adds to the overall cheapness.

I use asda and Sainsbury's for leggings but like fat face, saltrock, joules and mini boden tops and hoodies.

Has anyone else had trouble with H&M T shirts and cotton sweaters shrinking and going out of shape ?

I've given up buying from them having had several bad experiences .

Yep. Defo their t-shirts go very odd, like rotated?

M&S multipack t-shirts are good value, I find.

@peridito Some H and M tops dont wear as well as others. We also had a pair of leggings that had holes after one wear. But I buy from them still and the rest of the things have been fine. I had a nightie from marks that holed randomly in the middle of fabric after one wear once so you can never tell.

I got a second hand fat face hoodie for my dd couple of months ago looks like new. And she likes it.And it was under £4 inc postage. So it is worth still looking on eBay for older kids.

My dd11 loves H&M (divided range, young adult size 6-8 tops, jeans and leggings from kids range). Similar prices to primark but more stylish and better made. Underwear from supermarket ranges.

Sainsbury’s is better quality than primark imo, if you want cheap clothes.

Primark doesn’t wash well, I really wouldn’t bother.
