As above!

One of my friends wants to do a 10 mile walk for charity and has asked me to do it with her. I have never done anything like this before!

Can I prepare for it in 30 days and what do I need to do?

Any advice much appreciated!

A normal pace on flat ground is 3 miles per hour. The easiest way to prepare is to go out your front door and just walk for thirty minutes, you don't need a destination, when you've walked for thirty minutes turn round and walk back. After a week of doing this increase it to 45 minutes each way, then on the third week make it an hour. Do it every other day if you can.
There's a lot of emphasis on footwear but make sure you have comfy trousers on too, you don't want chafed legs from seams.

Make sure if you buy new shoes for it that you break them in properly otherwise you'll get blisters on the day!

Make sure you have cut your toenails before the walk. When doing distances I get really sore toes if my nails are a bit longer.

Apart from decent walking shoes or boots buy double-layer '1000 miles' walking socks and blister plasters just in case.
Make sure you take water and snacks and dress in layers so you stay comfortable.
Good luck OP, have a lovely walk!

Compeed blister plasters (you can buy them in big supermarkets), you put them on but don't take them off.

Don't worry too much about doing 10 miles beforehand, but definitely do 5-7miles a few times, if nothing else to check your shoes and prep any areas that might rub.

Vaseline nipples and I agree about a supportive, comfortable bra.

The terrain is mostly flat, roads/pavements but also sand and cliffs which I know will be harder.

If part of the route is along a beach, and it's safe and feasible, going barefoot and paddling will be really good for your feet. Just make sure they're thoroughly dried and you've brushed off all the sand before you put socks and shoes on again. Walking on wet sand is easier than walking on dry sand anyway.
