Please can someone name this plant?

It came in a selection of mixed herbs with their labels all muddled up, and by a process of elimination I decided it was lovage. But I don’t think it is.

borage ends up growing high and is useful - if nothing else apart from cooking or drinks , I believe ( and others must say ) if cut and steeped in water it makes a very good plant food. ( I have not googled so may be wrong) but yes I think it is Borage - perhaps call him Boris.

Borage is grown in fields around here. When I first saw them from a distance I had no idea what the crop was and felt like I was looking at the lavender fields in Provence. We are currently eating borage honey in this house, and it's very nice.

Borage isn't the same as herb robert. Herb robert is a member of the geranium family and is spindly with pink flowers.
