Discontinued foods or items you miss?

Posted a thread of what were treats growing up to you, and it was a really nice thread, got me thinking what foods now can't you buy that you used to love? Here are some of mine..

Everyone thinks I made up those yoghurt filled UFO's so I'm glad someone else remembers them Pivot!

I was discussing my love of Mojo's with DH yesterday. I don't think they're officially discontinued but you just can't find them in shops any more. Have found them on eBay before but could really do with a 50p mix from the shop.

Mars Delight were incredible.

I saw a post on Facebook recently a shop claiming to have them in store but it turned out to be a hoax😭

And I could be wrong but I think you might still get those drinks in shops like B&M etc but can't say for certain. I definitely bought them about 4/5 years ago.

Does anyone remember a "bolognese" quiche that sainsbury's did? It was amazing, my dm used to but me one every Saturday. It was like cheesy and tomatoey

Asda used to do a vegetable pasta bake ready meal that I very clearly remember loving as a child. It had broccoli in it... now I need to see if it still exists!

Billy they were amazing I can still taste them. I googled them before and am sure they were from the same company that made Frufoo yoghurts.

You can get the twist and squeeze drinks in poundstretcher and occasionally b&m and home bargains

Trebor extra strong mint lollies. They did them about 8-9 years ago but now sadly discontinued. They were so refreshing on a hot day, like a minty mini milk!

Qj17.....I read your post in disbelief. I'm 53 and have struggled for years to remember what the potato puffs were called! It keeps me awake at night! Do you mean the bbq ones? Some really covered in loads of paprika? Crispy burnt bits at the bottom? I want to say made by Red something foods? Like little hollow curls of heaven?

Another vote for Cremola Foam. Juice of my childhood then early twenties when it was lovely with vodka!

@qj17 they were like tiny mini wotsits in shape and texture, the salt and vinegar ones were fantastic! You'd sometimes get what you thought was the last little crisp out the corner and it was actually a huge ball of total heavenly sour flavouring!

So there is a hipster burger place near me that sold something called cock scratchings (like pork scratchings but made from chicken skin). They were the best tasting thing I’ve ever experienced. We’d get delivery from them and order two portions and eat them over the course or a feeble days. Then they stopped selling them just as I got pregnant. I craved them so much but can’t get them anywhere. Begged the company to sell them again but had no response

Found a company that sells them in little bags - totally different and utterly disgusting.

Tried to make them myself - awful.

I could cry just thinking about it.

I know those crisps you're talking about maw I nearly bought them yesterday. Love them I eat about 5 packs at a time 😂
