& he HAS to drive in an hour.
My fault obviously but not sure why.
He also gave one to his DS (17).
Anyway of flushing them through?
I can’t drive as I’m on a train going in the opposite direction

I imagine they don’t cause drowsiness in all. But not worth the risk to anyone.

LoafofSellotape · 26/05/2019 12:35

Don't risk it.

It does say not to drive and not to give to under 18s.

Nooooo! They are sold as sleep aids because they knock you out! Personally, I wouldn't drive after taking ANY antihistamine.

If he crashes, his insurance will be invalid and he may injury or. god forbid, kill someone. Your family life would be over.

AlexaShutUp · 26/05/2019 12:36

Of course he can't drive. Wherever he is supposed to go, he'll have to make alternative arrangements.

PeoniesarePink · 26/05/2019 12:37

Apologies, cross posted.

I've banned DH from the medicine box OP for the very same reasons as this Hmm

SeaToSki · 26/05/2019 12:39

That medication either hypes you up or knocks you out. He should know about an hour after taking it. Mostly it knocks people out. I would suggest a taxi until he knows how he reacts to it. Its probably going to last 6 ish hours, maybe longer.

Sleepeaze is anti histamine. Depends if he’s sensitive to them, regular anti histamines in hay fever tablets knock me out especially the one in sleepeaze, but some people aren’t bothered by them.
If he regularly takes anti histamines for hay fever he might have built up a tolerance.
