Where is there a dental A and E in a London hospital? Also is it ok for root canal to be done over 3 weeks?

I've had root canal started, taken as much prescription cocodamol and ibuprofen as I can take, it's starting to wear off and am frightened of how bad it feels and worried about infection - trying to come up with a plan if I can't cope at 4am or over the Bank Holiday weekend.

I definitely can't eat and I have type 1 diabetes so it's not ideal, I've been drinking milk but it's not enough.

Does anyone know what hospital to go in an emergency like this?

My next appointment isn't for almost three weeks, is that ok? The dentist wanted me back in 10 days to 2 weeks but his receptionist had no appointments?

No experience but I happened to spend much of last night in a north London A&E, and there was a notice saying that for dental emergencies out of hours you should call NHS 111 for advice as to where to go.

I know Guy's hospital has one.

Out of hours dentist emergency 111....
I wouldnt wait for it to get bad though

Kings has a special dental bit. But not over night i dont think, and u have to have a referral to go, maybe thru a&e.... But i would go with the 111 option for tonight / over the weekend

Ok thank you for the info. I know a certain amount of pain is fairly normal, so trying not to panic yet, but feel I need a plan in place. 111 is probably the best shot then.
