“Secret” things you ask for in shops

I realised today in Clarks (while buying shoes for DD who had bare feet necessitating asking for their pop socks) that there are some things you can ask for in shops that aren’t advertised but are available. Pop socks is a boring example because they’d probably offer anyway, but there’s also
— garlic oil in Pizza Express
— getting your cappuccino “extra hot”

Ok it’s a short list. Is there anything else?!

Our Morrisons charges 50p for yeast ☹️. It’s still good value though and makes lovely bread.

I always have my HC from Costa extra hot as like PP I don’t drink it immediately. I walk to the station with it and by the time my train arrives it’s just right.

reastie the pizza cheese was possibly not suitable to eat unheated.

I was in Pizza Express on Sunday, and asked for a Vegan Giardiniara pizza with ordinary mozzarella instead of vegan substitute. No problem.
