How many scoops of ice cream from a 1 litre tub?

running an ice cream stall for a charity even on Saturday. I know how many people are coming, and I need to work out how much ice cream to buy, but I realise I have no idea how many scoops you can get from 1 litre.

Any ideas?
I know for some things there is a rule of thumb - 20 cups of tea form a pint, for example. Does anyone know of anything for ice cream?

yes, as it is included in the price, I'm not too worried if they aren't huge.

I have also got flakes and sprinkles and sauces, so kids will be happy.

I have one cone per person working on 10 scoops per litre and 2 scoops per cone.
I'm going to ask today if I can return unused cones, and get a stack of spare cones, so if we only use half the amount of ice cream, I can offer seconds.

Can't store any more ice cream, so that is my limiting factor.

Can't thank you all enough for your help, it has been invaluable

xx

(PS - I'm not in charge of the milk Grin)
