Can you buy generic naproxen instead of Feminax Ultra?

Feminax is £££ which is annoying as I never usually buy branded painkillers, but can't find out via Google if a generic naproxen exists? Boots don't seem to have any online.

Will have to suck it up if not as it does help me.

My god, this is really useful! Thank you.

But if you get a prescription you will be allowed a larger quantity. So it will probably work out cheaper overall.

Yes boots do naproxen over the counter, for period pain.

It is far cheaper than feminax..

I would recommend if requiring it for more than a day or two to see a gp and get a liner for your tummy (omeprazole, lansoprazole etc)... and they may prescribe you a higher dose of naproxen whilst there too!

Ive taken naproxen before from boots, OTC, and was okay as long as i had it after food etc..

My local Asda said they didn’t sell Feminax anymore, the pharmacist suggested there own brand equivalent, so it might be worth asking in store. I’m not sure what the name was but it was cheaper than Feminax.
