Can you take a Trunki as cabin baggage on Ryanair?

I’ve paid extra for DD and I to have an additional cabin bag each - the website says it can be up to 10kg but because Trunkis are an awkward shape I wondered if Ryanair might be dicks about it.

Has anyone taken a Trunki as an overhead cabin bag without any issues?

Does it fit the allowed dimensions? If so, it will be allowed. If not, you'd be a dick to take it.

Check the size of the case against the dimensions they allow.

Rocking up and saying 'but xyz on Mumsnet said they took their trunki' isn't going to work. Airlines work on facts, not gossip.

Trunkis should fit the dimensions. We always take Trunkis as cabin baggage and never had a problem, although we've never taken them on Ryanair. I agree you should measure and check, you don't want heartbreak at the gate!!
