Not sexy ones Grin
Suitable for a group of women ranging from 20-60, some with mobility issues so nothing too active! And nothing that could cause arguments if possible...
We have a couple lined up but I think we could do with a couple more if anyone has any bright ideas, thank you 😊

Pass the parcel. - yes still fun as a grown up. The rizla game/post it game - write a famous person on and stick it on someone else's head. They have to ask yes no questions till they guess correct. Build a bridge from mashmallows and spaghetti...prize for best/strongest/prettiest.

Isn't there a game where you put an after eight mint on your face and you have to manipulate it I to your mouth with no hands. There was also something to do with running a malteser along a metal tape measure into your mouth. Maybe Google those.

Personally I like a quiz. What's the event - you could theme it....so if it's a birthday/hen do you could use photos of the person and ask random questions....where was this taken, who took this photo etc

There are some great board/quiz games for just this purpose: Look at 5 Second Rule, Linkee, or something simple like charades?

Get everyone to write down the names of 10 people. Famous, celebrities, fictional, cartoon characters, film/drama characters, politicians, sports stars or real life people you know. (Only rule is that at 2 other people in the group should have heard of them)
Fold each name and put in a box/bucket.

Split into 2/3/4 teams.
(Game then works a bit like charades or articulate)
One player takes a name at random from the bucket and has to describe the person for his team to guess. No saying any of the words on the paper. One minute to describe as many as possible. One 'pass' per turn.
Then the other team has a go, then back to first team, until all names are gone.

Winner is the team to correctly guess most names.

Celebrity Heads: each player has the name of a celebrity stuck on their head which they cannot see, but everyone else can. The player can only ask one question on their turn which can only have a yes or no answer.

The play goes around each player in turns until a person correctly guesses their celebrity's name.

‘In the manner of the word’

One person (or a pair) go out and the rest chose an adverb. People are brought back in and have to work out what it is by asking the people in the know to do something ‘in the manner of the word’

So, if you chose ‘loudly’ the guesser(s) might say ‘Delurking, please sing in the manner of the word’ and I would sing loudly etc etc

Is anybody easy to offend? Or a bit old fashioned? If not, Cards Against Humanity is hilarious!

CakeNinja · 20/05/2019 15:04

Should have said, cards against humanity has been banned by me, it’s all fun and games until someone gets that bit too pissed and takes umbrage!!
Thanks for the excellent suggestions, I’ll have a proper read through and find the ones that will take the least organisation Grin
