Plastic toys

I'm trying really hard to make positive changes in our home and everything we manage to change feels 👍🏻. However, we need to get rid of some things. I've given a lot to charity shops and relatives etc, made clothes into cleaning cloths.
The problem is we have to get rid of some broken, non repairable, missing bits toys plastic toys.
Is there any option other than tipping them? I'm loathe to do it but we don't know what else to do.
Thanks

Sometimes people want spare parts for things, but I guess this could be time consuming and mean things hanging around for a long time.

Our tip has a plastic recycling skip

If they’re missing only non essential bits such as the driver from a train I’d give them to a charity shop as toys are really popular. Broken ones can be recycled at the tip in the hard plastic skip.

Ok that's good I didn't realise they could take it for recycling at the tip. I've put some bits online as free for anyone that might get some kind of use as well.
