Keep seeing it.

Fail to see the confusion on a female dominated site esp when talking of women's issues.

Women = plural (more than one).

Woman = singular (I.E. just ^one).

Having lived in NZ for several years, I can tell you that in certain parts of NZ, they pronounce the word Women as Woman.

It's a bit narrow minded and ignorant to say its lazy.

I see it more and more often ignores the mistake in the thread title! and it rally irritates me. It can't be an autocorrect otherwise it would always be 'men'.

I think it's probably predicted text. When I start writing women, as I type the 'wom', 'women' and 'women's' pop up.

I have to type out 'man' and 'men' because my phone doesn't give these as suggestions when I start to type the words.

What do you mean about "privacy grounds" WeBuilt?

It seems common these days, if a thread goes against OP, they get MN to delete it on "privacy grounds". Especially on AIBU!
