I know this is marmite on here and I've never really loved it myself but I have dug a bottle out from under the sink which turns out is twilight garden. It smells so nice! It says that it's antibacterial and anti viral? I have never heard of anti viral cleaning products, but as we have chicken pox in the house I've gone a bit mad with it! What else can I do with it?

I put a couple of capfuls in the washing machine when I wash the dogs' beds and harnesses. It's the only thing that gets rid of the doggy smell!

bobstersmum · 17/05/2019 13:38

Do you put it the washing powder bit or the softener bit?

Put it in the bin and find something kinder to the planet.
Or at the very least treat it as what it is - a disinfectant. So don't put it in your laundry, on your worktops, radiators etc. It's powerful toxic stuff

I like the rose one and add it to the washing machine as well as diluting it in a spray bottle and using it to lightly spritz soft furnishings.

Recently discovered Zoflora (ta, Mrs H Grin ) and I love it.
I use it to wipe down surfaces or put a little bit on kitchen roll at the bottom of the bin to keep it fresh.
Linen Fresh is my fave.

The new spring one is lovely btw

PopcornZoo · 17/05/2019 14:39

How is it going to help with the chicken pox?

bobstersmum · 17/05/2019 14:56

Well it might help stop it spreading to the other dc?

Ive been using Zoflora for yrs before mrs Hinch started walking and im still here. Its a great disinfectant and fab at killing germs. But don’t use it on your furniture. Spray some fabric conditioner on it instead.

DontCallMeShitley · 17/05/2019 15:19

Please be aware it is full of allergens before you use it.

Gave me a bad headache within a few minutes and made me feel sick. I bought it because people raved about it on here, will never buy anything like it again.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 17/05/2019 15:21

It’s a disinfectant. I use it maybe once a week & on the kitchen+bathroom floor. Don’t be spaying it around for the scent it’s strong stuff and it’s not good to breath in

outvoid · 17/05/2019 15:23

I use it to mop the floors and also put some in the kitchen sink to keep it smelling fresh.

Jarstastic · 17/05/2019 18:17

I have some mixed up in a spray bottle in the kitchen.
I’ll also use some in a bucket occasionally and use it in the washing machine (2 capfuls in fabric conditioner).
I never use it for spraying on furniture (it’s flammable if nothing else) or as a way to make things smell nice. If I want a nice smell I’ll use a few drops of essential oil on a damp cloth.

Quietlife333 · 17/05/2019 18:26

It’s brilliant for cleaning smelly football boots.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 17/05/2019 19:06

I use it diluted on my floors and worktops.
