Really worried - mild-mid nausea, lack of appetite, lack of smell sense (i.e. something has to smell strongly for me to be able to smell it), general tiredness, mid-back pain and intermittent diarrhea, all for 5 WEEKS :(

Have not vomitted (just feel nauseous) and still eating despite even my favourite foods tasting bland, don't even have sugar cravings anymore, and just have zero appetite - eat because I have to be but can easily go 24 hours without a twinge of hunger.

Bloods and stool samples came back reasonably clear (just elevated faecal calprotectin) so even the GPs have no idea..

I am thinking now it's possibly KIDNEY infection or kidney disease now.... only because the symptoms are all mentioned for those disorders and I had kidney/bladder pain a week or so before all this started (but no pain since). Few months back, dipstick urine test came back clear at GP and I did one today at home and it seems clear (no proteins, no glucose etc.) but heard the dipstick test is not sensitive (i.e. need a lot of damage/infection before it can be detected)... I am mid-20s but do drink very large amounts of water (may have damaged kidneys) and did take quite a high vitamin D dose daily (but as per manufacturer recommendations) leading up to this happening (and vitamin D can damage kidneys apparently)

I don't know what to do :( I'm losing the will to live as it is miserable feeling like I might throw up any minute, for 5 whole weeks so far, not having any appetite and very low sense of smell and the GPs have no idea either :(

Sorry you're feeling so bad, sounds rubbish.

Any chance you could be pregnant?

@DNAwrangler Thank you & no definitely not (sorry I should have mentioned that in my post)

It sounds very worrying for you. Have you checked for carbon monoxide leaks at hone/work? Disclaimer: in no way am I a medical professional...
