AH, @FurrySlipperBoots - that'll be Land Down Under by Men at Work. I always assumed it was about how wonderful Australians were, but I could be wrong, given that I've had two large whiskies and half a bottle of wine...

Now "Blue (da ba dee da ba doo)" - that is inexplicable. Also "Daa daa da" from a TOTP of my youth.
