What can I eat? High blood sugar

I'm really really struggling. My husband is a vegetarian which makes it even harder and we are surrounded by chocolate which I'm struggling with! I've cut down on carbs but not enough and just feel hungry all the time. What should I be snacking on when I'm hungry. Feel limited and confused and pretty fed up. Got a fasting blood test this week. Whole thing is actually massively stressing me out.

Always check the labels on processed foods purchased. So many have more than one type of sugar in them. Re nut butters: check for sugar (and I also avoid with salt or Palm oil for preference). Meridian is good (the nuts are roasted in the skin) and Aldi have a nice one also.

Sorry I missed this so I guess you've already had it? Make sure you sip enough water before your tests and have a nice cup of tea afterwards with a LIGHT snack or a banana and a small handful of, eg almonds.
