Bedroom essentials

Such as deodorant, perfume, moisturiser.
My bedroom looks like a tombola stall, and I'm hoping for a fresh, uncluttered look.

Where do you keep your essentials?
Neatly on display or hidden in a cupboard?

Ooooh interested, I'm in the same boat.
Although the actual issue might be the giant cot in there taking up almost allllll the space (1 month to go until shes put in her own room, counting down!)

BendydickCuminsnatch · 11/05/2019 17:49

I keep all that sort of thing in a basket on the bathroom window sill.

OldAndWornOut · 11/05/2019 17:54

I'm wondering if i'll be able to clear a space on a wardrobe shelf..
Seems like an impossible task at the minute!

I have a shelf attached to my basin

FaithInfinity · 11/05/2019 18:00

I have a drawer in the bathroom. I’ve got antiperspirant, cleaner, toner, moisturiser, face wipes (I have reusable) and contact lenses in it.

SinglePringle · 11/05/2019 18:01

Two drawer beside cabinet. One draw has all brushes and hair products, the second all body lotions and deodorants.

Make up and make up brushes are stored in a big flat box that slide out from under the bed.

The only things ‘out’ in my bedroom are perfume bottles.

But I do have a dressing room (however it’s also streamlined and clutter free).

Fantasisa · 11/05/2019 18:03

All the stuff you mention is kept in my bathroom

orangejuiced · 11/05/2019 18:07

I keep all those products in my bathroom cabinet.

keepingbees · 11/05/2019 18:07

My deodorant, face cleanser and cotton wool etc is all in a drawer in my en suite bathroom and I use them in there. For the things I use once in my bedroom such as moisturiser and hair products I have them on my bedside drawers in a clear plastic organiser from b&m. Keeps them tidy and much easier to dust around.

Lndnmummy · 11/05/2019 18:25

I keep most of that stuff in my bathroom. In my top bedside draw I keep night cream, hand cream, foot creAm and lip balm and on top of table my perfume.

stucknoue · 11/05/2019 18:25

Interesting - it's one of the reasons h cited in wanting to leave me. I have so much stuff

MrsPear · 11/05/2019 18:37

In a white tray on top of my Chester drawers. I also have a small mirror - my late grandparents-, pictures of my children and late grandparents, earrings on a holder, hairdryer, strainers and brush in a holder and a couple of candles on there. Pain when it comes to the weekly dusting but can’t think where else I would put them.

newjobnerves · 11/05/2019 18:48

I wanted to declutter the bedroom so put some shelves up in the en-suite to put deodorant etc on.

fedup21 · 11/05/2019 18:55

Chester drawers. Grin

Sorry.

OP, my make up is in a bag with moisturiser etc inside it in the bathroom. In the bedroom, I have some bottles of perfume, a pot with a few make up brushes in and a jewellery stand on ‘show’. Everything else is tucked away in the top two drawers of the chest of drawers.

OldAndWornOut · 11/05/2019 19:00

Thank you all.
Bathroom is already quite full, but all out of sight except for one shelf.

I have found a hanging shoe organiser thing, so might hang it inside my wardrobe door to hold deodorant etc.

You shouldn't keep your make up and creams in the bath room as the humidity spoils them/makes them go off!
I keep mine on my dressing table and in the bathroom that we don't use for showering/bathing. Make up is in the front room tucked away in a drawer as I always apply it whilst having my cup of tea in the morning.

happymummy12345 · 12/05/2019 11:31

We keep ours on top of our chests of drawers. Nearly organised. I don't have much as I'm not into makeup or moisturiser or loads of cream.
