Hi I'm looking for some good non serious things to watch on amazon prime.
Like a lot of series so I can binge watch Grin
Just finished watching greys anatomy and royal pains.
I do have Netflix but had watched most stuff on there so signed up to amazon prime.
If anyone could give me some ideas I would be grateful Smile

New Girl. It’s cheesy and easy to watch.

turkeyboots · 08/05/2019 22:13

Mozart in the Jungle. Wonderful music and funny.

sawyersfishbiscuits · 08/05/2019 22:16

Outlander as PP said
The man in the high castle is brilliant!
I've just watched The village which I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed Mrs Maisel, got a bit bored with outlander after series 1.
What amazon or Netflix offerings are similar?
(Sorry to thread highjack)

Has anyone seen Santa Clarita diet -,it's great - but not sure if it's just Netflix

BananaBooBoo · 08/05/2019 23:02

Santa Clarita is on Netflix
Like previous posters I loved Bones ( 12 seasons!!!), life in pieces and Lucifer. Currently loving the Mentalist.

onestepforwardtenstepsback · 09/05/2019 09:50

Thankyou everyone. I have put every single one on my watch list so I can go through them at leisure.
Sometimes with two children one with disabilities and sleep deprivation I just need something easy to watch.
Also have anxiety so need to relax and watch while I'm on treadmill Smile.
Santa Clara diet is really good.
There was loads I enjoyed on netflix find amazon harder to navigate though

The Good Place.

Easy watching, funny in parts, no concentration required.

Its not mindless but not brain-aching complex either, but Halt and Catch Fire (4 seasons) is completely fantastic and stars the delicious Lee Pace.

CloudRusting · 09/05/2019 10:21

One extra is Almighty Johnsons. It is currently what I watch on the (public transport) commute

TheFrenchLieutenantsMonkey · 09/05/2019 10:24

Lucifer seasons 1-3 on Amazon
Season 4 on Netflix.

Papergirl1968 · 09/05/2019 11:01

Can recommend 911 if you like emergency services dramas. They’re firefighters but they seem to do paramedic stuff too.

mommybunny · 09/05/2019 15:07

Agree Man in the High Castle is brilliant but I wouldn’t call it mindless!

If you’re looking for Netflix series and you didn’t catch Mad Men when it was on “regular” tv then Netflix has them all. I was hooked.
