A new mattress- Full memory foam or pocket sprung memory foam?

Our current one is pocket sprung memory foam. Had it about 8 years and it's done. Loved it, so just checking am I missing something with a full memory foam? Or is there very little benefit?

Recommendations would also be welcome!

I swapped for a memory foam and hated it, it's hard to turn over in bed, hot and uncomfortable.
In hindsight I don't know why I wanted a mattress to mould to me and remember me, I want one that springs back into shape instantly.

Thanks Gertie75 but we already have a memory foam and love it. Perhaps I didn't make my post clear- we want memory foam again, but are wondering if the pocket sprung + memory foam is good enough (like we're used to), or should we consider full memory foam?

We bought a Mammoth 3000 two years ago and it is amazing. It's made from medical grade foam, not memory foam, so it doesn't get too hot. I really can't recommend this enough. The only trouble we have now is when we go on holiday, I find it really difficult to get a good nights sleep in another bed.

I have pocket sprung memory foam. I think full memory foam is a bit too hot

Our son has a full memory foam bed but it's nowhere near as good as the mammoth 3000, which has 3000 pocket springs.

Get springs too. I've just gone from pure memory foam to both and it's so much more supportive and comfortable.

We had a pure memory foam one and it sunk (permanently indented on DH side Hmm) we replaced it with a pocket sprung and memory foam one which is a vast improvement.

I’ve had both. Currently got sprung+foam and I’d never go back. Full foam was just weird.

You need to go and lie on some mattresses in store to see what's comfortable for you personally as an individual

We have a Tempur memory foam, and it springs back. We've had ours 12 years and can't imagine not having it now. Wrt them being hot, I find it the opposite and I generally run really warm.

We have a tempur-pedic mattress with a coolant layer built in. It's absolute bliss to sleep on; supportive and firm with just the right amount of softness.
