Very brief-"met" online just yesterday, had a text convo for about 7 hours or so - got on quite well, very funny/banter type conversation, swapped numbers, agreed to meet for a drink today in my area (about 1 hour drive from him) - he suggested today and was being flirty etc towards the end of the convo yesterday - I fell asleep without replying and last message from him was "goodnight beautiful xxx etc" - I answered this morning saying I must have fallen asleep and asked to confirm plans for today (as he hadn't decided whether to drive or take public transport today and that would affect the place we'd meet) - he saw the message but has not replied and it's been 2 hours..! and 15 mins left to our arranged time.

So annoying as I'm a planner so wanted to know in advance so could get ready in time etc. Why do people do this? If you're coming, tell me the details. If you're not coming, give me an excuse and cancel or postpone. I could have been doing loads with this day off rather than waiting around, esp as he seemed super keen yesterday.

But he's bloated, so why bother?

Sorry but this made me snoooort with laughter Grin

I wouldn't bother OP. Falling asleep is such a shit excuse. Even though that was yours too

He’s had all morning to contact you though. He sounds flakey (and bloated).

Loka123 · 06/05/2019 18:41

Lol I almost wish I hadn't unmatched him on the app as can't see the bloated pic anymore, only the pic where he looks really good (as he's used that on whatsapp).. the bloated pic is rather out of sight out of mind.. so annoying lol.. I'm secretly hoping the bloated pic is a historical pic and the good looking pic is more recent... otherwise, I'm being "catfished"....! lol

He's testing you.
If you keep engaging you passed the test and he'll know that you will allow him to treat you like crap. So he will.

AsleepAllDay · 06/05/2019 18:53

I wouldn't go OP. You sound lukewarm about him after the pic and his non texting. Plenty more men on bumble
