Way too much to drink last night and up far too late.

I have so much to do today, what can I do to make myself feel better. Have drunk some water.

Envy not envy

A DIY job can be just as effective as a shag.

AtrociousCircumstance · 05/05/2019 10:20

Milky iced coffee with big scoop of vanilla ice cream in it.

Drogosnextwife · 05/05/2019 10:22

Full fat coke. Painkillers, I can't remember if paracetamol or ibuprofen is better for hangovers. I use neurofen liquid capsules because they work fast but they do make me throw up, most painkillers do though, they really irritate my stomach. Salt and vinegar crisps, usually McCoy's, bacon sandwich, McDonald's, or a cheesy toastie or panini.

Drogosnextwife · 05/05/2019 10:22

Lucozade sport? Or any kind of sports drink really.

Violetroselily · 05/05/2019 10:24

A cold full fat coke
Something stodgy like pizza, bacon sandwich, fry up etc
Lots of water
A second sleep

Mokepon · 05/05/2019 10:24

Full sugar fizzy drink. Irn Bru or Coke.
If you feel sick, any kind of corn snacks that dissolve in your mouth..quavers or skips.
Once that's gone in, toast or a sliced sausage roll. Give it an hour, you'll be grand.
Hope you feel better soon. Brew

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 10:28

I am never drinking again.

Half a packet of Jacobs cream crackers then plenty of water. Don’t go anywhere near coffee until you’re feeling normal.

hazeyjane · 05/05/2019 10:34

Coke
Marmite on toast
Paracetamol

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 10:36

I’ve taken ibuprofen, hoping that will work.

Dioralyte. Obviously steady drinking of water but take it slowly. If queasy, a flat coke. Easy to absorb carbs like white bread with magic marmite. Try and walk round the block as movement and fresh air good. Watch old film - pref b&w- while huddled under duvet on sofa and slowly sink into sleeping it off. That's my method!

SimonJT · 05/05/2019 10:53

🍌

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 10:58

Oh bugger off @SimonJT

Eggy crumpets with bacon and hot sauce. Big mug of earl grey.
Spliff
Dawson's Creek
Paracetamol
Lemon, ginger and honey water.

Narya · 05/05/2019 11:01

In this oder;:

Travel sickness tablets (proper pharmacy ones not herbal)
Ready salted crisps and a banana
Water with a squeeze of lemon juice in
Ibuprofen
Poo, shower then fresh air (better if it's cold out)

hazeyjane · 05/05/2019 11:03

Jeez Louise Rezcowgirl, apart from the paracetamol every thing on that list would make me vomit...whether I was hungover or not!

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 05/05/2019 11:07

Definitely sex. Especially if you can chuck in a massive orgasm. Sorts you out. Just avoid anything too athletic 😂
Flat full fat coke
Ready salted crisps
Lemonade ice lollies

If you can be sick it’s sometimes a quicker hangover.
I have felt your pain many a time. Sometimes a hair if the dog later on helps? 🙈

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 05/05/2019 11:07

@rezcowgirl I like your list

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 11:10

Thanks everyone.

Did I mention that I am never drinking again?

Pickled Onion Monster Munch
Bar of chocolate
White toast with loads of butter
McDonalds
Full English

AreYouGonnaGetThaf · 05/05/2019 11:30

A cup of OXO.

Trust me. One cube in hot water.

Drink it and you'll feel grand.

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 11:53

I don’t have oxo, would a stock cube work?

OP posts:
FromDespairToHere · 05/05/2019 12:10

Cheese and crisp butty and a mug of string tea.

FromDespairToHere · 05/05/2019 12:11

Erm, that would be strong tea, not string!

MagpieTree · 05/05/2019 12:52

String tea mmmm
