This has cheered me up. Watched "Coast to Coast", a tv film with Lenny Henry. I'd wanted to see it again for about 30 years. Also working through "Between the Lines" a 1992 tv series about a police corruption unit. Any recommendations?

I remembered watching a tv film called My Boyfriend's Back years ago. Nothing special but I quite liked it and always wanted to see it again. Found it on YouTube last weekend. Yay. Cheesy fabulousness Grin

A child's Christmas in Wales. We watched it when I was about 12 and I loved it. Discovered it on YouTube a couple of years ago and I still love it. It appeals to me differently as an adult but it still reaches out and grabs me.

I'm sure the Flint Street Nativity is on YouTube. It was a comedy special with lots of British comedians playing children putting on a Nativity play.

I want to watch it now that I've remembered it again

Oooh I really fancied Neil Pearson in Between the Lines. Blush

I am a big 80s fan and was thrilled to find Duran Duran's 'Sing Blue Silver' film on there. V happy memories.

I love watching cartoons from my childhood on YouTube.

My particular favourites are:

  • Budgie the Little Helicopter
  • Twinkle the Dream Being
  • The Wild Thornberries
  • Where's Wally
  • Raggy Dolls
  • Penny Crayon
  • Jem and the Holograms

As you can tell, I'm very productive when I work from home Grin

I watched Running Scared quite recently. It was a kids drama from the 80s. It featured him off of the Bill as a cockney gangsta going on about his “bins” and had a climactic ending on the Woolwich ferry. There was a whole thread about it on here and someone said it was on YouTube.

This deserves a boost for some new material!

I've been enjoying Tenko on you tube and reruns of Keith Floyd

TheNameGames · 14/12/2019 14:28

I can’t remember what it’s called now but it’s a Christmas film about a family of foxes and an evil farmer and his wife who tries to kill them. I used to watch it on a weekly basis as a child as we had recorded it on video along with classic Winnie the Pooh (but I bought those on DVD) Blush

GlitchStitch · 14/12/2019 14:31

An old TV movie called Hazard of Hearts that I remembered from childhood, it stars a very young Helena Bonham Carter as a girl who a dashing lord wins in a game of poker. Think it was based on a Barbara Cartland book. Found the whole thing on YouTube recently, it was so dated and cheesy but loved it!

GingleJangleScarecrow · 14/12/2019 15:27

We always called it Between the Sheets. Sidles off to YouTube. Crown Wink

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 14/12/2019 15:32

Jim Henson's The Storyteller about Greek myths etc, they terrified but enthralled me as a kid. I keep meaning to show the DC.

Gatekeeper · 14/12/2019 15:34

@cortex10 I used to love that series- loved the way the bedroom was decorated

Never see Jimmy Mulville noo- 'Who dares Win' was a good show on a Saturday night with him in and Rory McGrath, Tony Robinson Julia Thingy and Phil Pope. ...30 years on and I'm still quoting bits Grin

FenellaVelour · 14/12/2019 15:39

Quincy’s Quest 😬 loves it as a kid. Now, not so much!

Mileymileymoomoo · 14/12/2019 16:20
