What natural supplements help with anxiety that are suitable during breastfeeding?

I've become quite anxious since a few months. A lot of it is situational. Baby very clingy, poor sleeper, dh is being made redundant this month and hasn't got anything lined up, family drama, just lots of rubbish stuff all at the same time.

I have a constant feeling of being on edge. Normal things are making me feel even more anxious than usual eg I've got an interview next week which I would be nervous about on the day not weeks before hand! I feel by body or mind isn't relaxed.

Is there any natural supplements I can take that might take the edge of it? I know once a lot of these issues get sorted out I will most likely feel better .

Have you tried Rescue Remedy? The normal one should be fine, but if you'd prefer alcohol-free (there is a tiny bit in the drops), then the pastilles are a good choice.

Sounds tough Flowers

I suggest mindfulness, it helps to calm an anxious mind. I also like yoga to help me feel calmer and more grounded.

As for natural supplements, I would steer clear tbh, as there is not enough evidence about whether or not they are safe to take while breastfeeding.

I would go for Sertraline if I needed it, as it is safe to take when breastfeeding.

Sertraline, exercise, healthy diet, meditational breathing and mindfulness, and whatever sleep you can get.

Limit the caffeine.
