Vision express adaptive lenses

Has anyone got these?

I usually wear contacts and am in sunglasses pretty much constantly as I have sensitive eyes.
I need to take a break from the contacts so felt getting new glasses with clear to dark lenses seems the most sensible option but I have concerns.

How long does it take for them to change?
If I’m in a brightly lit room indoors will they appear dark?

They are likely to be my only pair as the frames I like (which I think will work well as both normal and sunglasses) are quite expensive plus I have to pay a fortune to have them made as thin as possible as my eyesight it shit.

Or would I be better getting separate glasses and prescription sunglasses?

Thanks

I wear adaptive lens glasses and I love them. They change really quickly without you even noticing. It’s much easier just having one pair rather than changing them. I’m on my second pair now and wouldn’t use anything else.

Thanks for replying!
How do you find them in the car? I’ve heard they don’t work because the windscreen is already UV protected?

Absolutely fine, no problem whatsoever. Don’t waste your money buying prescription sunglasses.

I've had 2 pairs of reactive lenses and neither have gone dark in cars.

Also I tend to wear smallish lenses so they looked odd as sunglasses. In the end got both instead.

That’s what I’m worried about, I like to wear sunglasses to drive in, it’ll be a bit pointless if they don’t go dark.
