How have you embarrassed your teenage children today?

I have been drying some fleece in the garden that I washed (I do spinning) and was resting from my labours when 13yo dd came back with a friend.
As they went past the hammock I heard her mutter, 'Just don't ask why there are big piles of wool in our garden, pretend they're not there.'

How have you embarrassed your teenage dcs today?

I'm another one who dared to breathe today. Plus I deliberately to be embarrassing gave 17 yo DS a kiss at the station when he went back to boarding school. Grin

I was listening to Dolly Parton in the car when I picked her up and the music must have escaped when she opened the door and people would have heard. Mortificado

Today I somehow linked dd's new phone to ds1's phone contacts. No idea how. Dh phoned and it came up on screen as The Daddy. In front of his friends

I spoke to ds13s friend, and asked him how he was. I've known him since he was 2, have cleaned up his vomit and blood, helped him with his injections (hes diabetic), and he spoke to me first!

I collected dd16 and her friend from outside school after their exam today. Apparently I should have parked round the corner, or just paid for a taxi. Next time dd can get the bus. I'll collect her very grateful, polite friend though Grin

He's 16 and not impressed with my ability at setting up an iPhone!!

I said hello to her. In the house. Only family members could hear. I'm SO annoying! (I have three teenagers. This is from the 18.5 year old...)

@curlygirly Brilliant 😂😂you couldn't have planned it.

Reading these and thinking I've got 12 years to go.... Dd turns one at the weekend

I forgot the 16yos were bringing a friend back for studying. MIL unexpectedly took my youngest two to soft play and the middl eone was on a play date. I'd had a long soak in the bath with an 80s radio station on. Was in my dressing down with wet hair in the kitchen when they arrived home. The daggers I got were hilarious, and my laughing didn't help at all.

I wore red tights.
