Guest beds

Tell me about your guest bedding

Driving myself crazy trying to decide - feather/wool/silk/microfibre or what for both the pillows and duvets

Should I go for anti allergy to be on the safe side?

Is hollow/microfibre horrible?

Cotton duvet set, variety of pillow sizes, light woollen throw at end of bed.
Hollow fibre duvet in case of feather allergy.
Fwiw I worry more about nice colour combos. No complaints yet.
Personally as a guest I appreciate a freshly ventilated, well dusted room as much as a comfy bed.

Cotton duvet set is standard, usually white

Is the use of microfibre pillows OK? Worry it makes your head sweat,
but if allergies are to be considered what's the alternative...

Don't have any.
But I would go for cotton and whatever (duvet, pillows) is easiest to wash.

Unless you are running a hotel/bnb you are really over thinking this.

Just some decent man made fibre pillows and duvet. Nice sheets and covers. Extra pillows and blankets available in case guests are cold.

Yes to cotton bedding, no question

Thanks for giving me the proverbial slap in the face star

I would not countenance man made fibre items for myself so it seems rude but it's cheaper and I will play the allergy card if questioned Grin
