New sofa is being delivered Thursday so need to get rid of it. Bought it from next two years ago for 1300. I've said £50 but OH said it's to low. Going to give all the covers a wash before selling.

£50-£75.

Coffeeandcrumpet · 28/04/2019 12:37

I would say about 200

ivykaty44 · 28/04/2019 12:38

Sofas generally go at low prices second hand, people are often in a rush to get rid and there are usually plenty around

BossyBanana · 28/04/2019 12:42

I would say £200 too.

Zebedee88 · 28/04/2019 12:44

Easily £150 to £200

SwedishEdith · 28/04/2019 12:44

Getting rid of a 2 year old sofa might suggest it's uncomfortable?

Idontmeanto · 28/04/2019 12:47

Most folk have to factor in van rental when buying a second hand one, if you have means to deliver you might get £200, but if not under £100 is more realistic.

kaytee87 · 28/04/2019 12:48

It's pretty hard to sell second half sofas for anything tbh.

Why are you getting a new one after 2 years ShockConfused

FiremanKing · 28/04/2019 12:50

£75

mysteryfairy · 28/04/2019 13:01

You could auction it on eBay and let the market decide!

TheSunIsShining19 · 28/04/2019 13:02

You will get hardly anything for it..second hand sofas are so so cheap..why are you selling it? It looks lovely..freshen it up, with new big plump patterned feather cushions. Will change the whole look!

calamariqueeen · 28/04/2019 13:05

It's just to hard to keep clean with DD and DS would of kept it if it wasn't for them.

Witchofzog · 28/04/2019 13:07

I disagree about sofas not selling. Nice ones like this go like hot cakes on Facebook Marketplace where I live

TheSunIsShining19 · 28/04/2019 13:14

It's looks like your doing an amazing job at keeping them clean!! Mine are same sort of colour..and get covered in filth every single day 😡 I'm jealous of you 😂

calamariqueeen · 28/04/2019 13:26

@TheSunIsShining19 don't be you haven't seen a close up of it 🤣

ILikeyourHairyHands · 28/04/2019 13:29

Just let it get filthy and get a new one when they're older (probably too late now as you've ordered an new one). £100 I'd say as I guess you just need it to go quickly.

(Failing that, donate it to the British Heart Foundation, they'll come and pick it up and will get a decent price for the charity).

JaneEyre07 · 28/04/2019 13:32

£100 tops as someone is going to have to hire a van to take it away.

GreenTulips · 28/04/2019 13:34

You can get them protected via a spray

Do that next time

cascade31 · 28/04/2019 13:34

I sold the pretty much exact same one this week. I had 53 enquiries and sold within an hour. £150 quid. Sofas seem to sell well on FB marketplace.

jcq17 · 28/04/2019 13:35

I'd say put it on for £200 people will always try to barter

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 28/04/2019 13:49

We sold a corner sofa on eBay. We bought it for about £800 and sold it for £450. Couple of years old. A couple of others of a similar age from M&S only made £50 each. It really does depend on who is looking at the time and how keen they are.

Justonedayatatime11 · 28/04/2019 13:52

calamari whereabouts are you?

calamariqueeen · 28/04/2019 14:07
