Flipping ages, I'm only good at square things. DH does them all.

SimonJT · 27/04/2019 13:41

About 1-2 minutes, unless it’s over dry then it might take a bit longer.

insancerre · 27/04/2019 13:42

About a minute

UserAlice · 27/04/2019 13:43

Too long. DH is a whizz at them so he does them.

SirVixofVixHall · 27/04/2019 13:43

Agree about two minutes.

TodoDoingDone · 27/04/2019 13:44

About 2 mins. I put them on hangers to dry Some cotton seems to be easier than others.

Thanks - one of my cleaning jobs involves cleaning & ironing . There is a mixture of 39 shirts & blouses so I was thinking an hour & a half to do them all

Used to take me five seconds. 'DH, the iron and ironing board is that way ➡️'

HelmutFrontbut · 27/04/2019 13:48

Sorry OP cross posts Blush

TodoDoingDone · 27/04/2019 13:52

Blouses can be trickier than men's shirts, darts, frills, bows etc take more time.

gubbsywubbsy · 27/04/2019 13:56

Just keep in mind that if they took 40 shirts to a ironing place or dry cleaners it would cost them between )£20-£40 so they are getting a very good deal if they are paying you £10 an hour .. I would say 2 hours !

SaturdaySofaSlob · 27/04/2019 13:59

Agree on the blouses - lots of different materials & weird hard to iron shapes !
I’ll say 2 hrs to be sure

3 minutes approx. I do a working weeks worth of 5 at a time, and usually takes me 15 minutes.
