I've forgotten to buy or do something. I feel it in me bones. What is it?

goggles
armbands
hairbrush
sunglasses
contact lenses?

Depending on when your flight lands, make sure you have in food/drink for that night & next morning, until you can get to shops. So tea, milk sachets etc.

I'm in Spain now the weathers very changeable so make sure you pack some warmer clothes!

is passport valid for certain amount of months as per Foreign Office website? Some countries want your passport to be valid for another 6 months.

back up copies of passport/screenshots of passport/airline reservations or train tickets/accommodation address in case your phone breaks or you lose papers

remember to ask accommodation provider where nearest reasonable supermarket/pharmacy is, how to get to X

Calpol is called Dalsy here, from the pharmacy. there is a cheaper non-brand version, too, but the name escapes me!

You really can buy anything in Spain. Big supermarkets and the Chinese shops don't close at lunch, smaller boutique-type places do (as do smaller supermarkets, my small Spar downstairs yes, the bigger Spar three streets away no).

Shops will open between 9-10am and close between 8-10pm.

And YY to previous poster - it's very spring-like here at the moment. Lovely sunshine, but wind and the odd passing cloud. Beach weather but not swimming weather. Chilier at night, but cardi + pashmina, not Michellin Man coat! I'm on the coast near Barcelona, if that helps.

One european plug adaptor plus a uk extension lead. Saves fighting over a plug.
