Please the world of mumsnet help me put a happy motivational playlist together to distract me from a horrible period of anxiety I am going through!

I will be adding songs to a spotify playlist and playing them in my room, in my car and also at the gym!

Old and new songs welcome!!

I have zero songs so far! My first song will be

'Come on Eileen' a song myself and dp love dancing and singing to in the car =)

Happy to share the playlist on spotify for those who would like to listen once I have put it together...!

Thank you

My absolute favourite for blasting the blues is Going Back to My Roots by Odyssey.

Also A Little Respect by Erasure, Like a Prayer by Madonna, Break My Stride by Matthew Wilder, Higher Love by Steve Winwood, What a Feeling by Irene Cara.

I listen to a lot of Heart 80s Grin

Hope you feel better soon OP Flowers

Ooh also, depending on why you’re feeling down... if it’s because of someone who’s a massive twat, I can wholeheartedly recommend Fuck You by Lily Allen. I’m not a fan generally, but it is brilliantly uplifting 😂

Here's the Jimmy Eat World link seeing as a few of us have mentioned it now. Smile

This is a good reminder to make a motivational playlist to avoid the procrastination/ self sabotage/ hating self spiral when I'm at work on my own. Blush
