Legoland Ride Access Pass

Does anyone know much about the changes to the RAP? We're due to go in a few weeks so I just went on their website to look into it & assumed it would be the same as last year. It says they're only accepting higher rate DLA this year which DS doesn't have - he gets the lowest. He does, however, have ASD & really struggles with having to queue for things, even more so if he's a bit over-excited. I'd been looking forward to taking him back to LL, given the success of last year but his behaviour recently has been particularly difficult so I was already a little concerned it was going to be too overwhelming for him. Now I'm dreading it - I can just see him struggling to cope with the queues & it all turning into a miserable day for all of us. He genuinely can't queue for more than about 2 minutes without getting antsy. I looked at the app earlier & it says some of the queue times are about 45 minutes - no chance!

Are they being super strict about it or is it worth applying & hoping for the best? The website also says that the RAP is valid for the current season & the following one - I don't remember it saying that last year, any chance I've just forgotten that & we'll be fine for this year?!

NO idea about the pass, but that sounds pretty unfair and I can imagine how bloody hard that will be with a child with asd, what I will say though is 45mins sounds optimistic, when we went some rides were well over an hour wait...

You need a letter from your GP or consultant stating that he has ASD and is unable to queue, letter must be dated within the last 2 years. I think you only need the PIP/DLA letter if you don’t have the doctors note.
