How many Easter eggs did your kids get?

My step-sons got 5 eggs and a chocolate bunny each but they get even more over their mum’s as she has a larger family. We try and limit the amount of chocolate coming into the house as we still have chocolate from Christmas (believe it or not!) but it’s difficult when other people buy for the kids as well.

I just wondered how many others have had a ‘frugal’ Easter this year or have you all gone chocolate-crazy?!

Three but that’s because we kept eating them before Easter. It’s only me and dd though, no family to buy eggs for her.

One bag of milky bar mini eggs which she ate on Thursday and Friday.

1 each and that was 2 weeks ago. They ate it straight away

One each! No family nearby to buy additional eggs for them.

3 each, but they are the HUGE ones that come with additional chocolate bars/bags of mini eggs etc.

They also got an electric toothbrush (partly a joke, partly because they needed one anyway) and a total of £20 each from family in lieu of eggs.

To be honest, neither are big fans of chocolate and DH and I will probably end up eating half Blush

DS (20 months) recieved a highly inappropriate for a toder egg from MIL and a smaller one from my mum and dad. DSS (7) got £50 in cash and a cupboard full of chocolate and sweets which I think is absolutely ridiculous and will NOT be allowing for my son as he gets older. £50 for easter makes a very spoilt child if you ask me!

About 6 small eggs each (smaller than a dessert spoon) from the Easter Bunny/ the egg hunt that DH does, 1 Cadburys egg each from the National Trust trail we went to yesterday but those have melted and reformed into not egg shapes. In-laws have got them at least 1 each but we haven't seen them yet.
DC1 also got a cheap dress and a book from me and an expensive top from my parents. DC2 got a cheap dress and a game from me and an expensive t-shirt from my parents. DH's parents usually get them some pyjamas or similar.

2 each - one from each set of grandparents. That's more than enough.

5, one from me, 4 from extended family, none from any bunny. He is one of a few great grandchildren in a family of adults.
