Has anyone experienced this? Sudden stomach pain in early pregnancy

I’m currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and a couple of days before I found out I was pregnant I experienced the following: a sharp pain in the centre of my stomach, I came over really hot and was then sick. I didn’t feel sick but knew I was going to be sick. The pain was severe and was difficult to sit / walk comfortably but only lasted for about an hour and hasn’t returned since (now 5 days ago).

I’ve been googling and scaring myself - but would like to know if anyone has experienced anything similar? Thanks :)

Yes, I had awful, blinding pain in the early days. First pregnant it was perfectly normal (if incredibly painful) stretching. Second pregnancy it was agonising, and I also booked into a private scan at 6 weeks as I just felt it wasn’t right to be in such pain. In actual fact, I found out at the 12 week blood tests I had extremely high HCG levels which increased the intensity of all my pregnancy symptoms. I was on paracetemol all day for the first 20 weeks to help with the stomach and head pain. It was miserable. Good luck OP, just wanted to let you know there are lots of things that can be going on not necessarily connected to physical health of baby

Guilty of not having rtft but I get trapped wind and it is incredibly painful. Had it more in my second pregnancy and was awful.

so just a little update - early scan went well :) nice strong regular heartbeat! definitely one baby. First measurements she done suggested I was 6 weeks and 5 days, the second suggested I’m 7 weeks and 2 days. I thought I’m 7:3 so all good :D
