Boring... What time will I wake DP up?

Went out for dinner and to the cinema last night. Got home about midnight. I went straight to sleep but he stayed up watching TV but I don't know until what time.

Plans for today are to go to the local Market for some fresh eggs and a mosey around, up to his Grandparents to walk their dog and help his grandad with anything he needs (he's very not well now, probably not going to get better) and take his grandma out for a coffee as she is his main carer and doesn't get out much. Then he's hoping to play golf whilst I do my nails.

Dogs woke me up at 8 so I knew if I went back to bed if feel rubbish and probably not wake up until noon so I'm up, drank two coffees and browned mumsnet for an hour.

So. What time will I go and get DP up? Also someone talk to me because I'm bored and Sunday morning TV is rubbish.

Will he not get himself up? Did you have plans to leave for a specific time?

Spaceunicorn6789 · 21/04/2019 09:13

I'm not sure it depends what time he eventually went to sleep!

He is essentially a sloth with sleep so would potentially sleep until 11 if I left him there!

We made a loose plan yesterday afternoon to get up around 9 to leave about 10ish but that was before we decided to go out and come home late.

I'd say half 9.

Get breakfast on, wake him up with that and leave around 10 still :)

Half 9 does sound reasonable and breakfast in bed seems like a lovely thing to wake him up with and less likely to get a growl out of him then going in and yelling TIME TO GET UP!

Oh wait I can hear sniffing maybe he's awake...

It’s a very nice thing to do :) hopefully he returns the favour with some prodding

If he's off tomorrow for the bank holiday he can catch up tonight.

Take him a coffee/tea/whatever and start some bacon frying. No bacon sandwich until he gets down stairs Wink Wink
