What documents do you need for travelling from stansted airport?
Is it just boarding pass and passport? or is there anything else?

Also, how long before flight departure, do you usually arrive at the airport?

It matter more where you are travelling to, not from.

Boarding pass and passport is all you need for most flights though.

Google says you should arrive 2 hours before a flight. If it's within the UK, you can probably arrive later. International you Maybe should arrive earlier. Also depends whether you are checking a bag or not.

Same documents as any other airport.
Bear in mind that most of the departure gates involve getting the shuttle train from the main terminal, so don't linger too long in the duty free area.

Where you are flying to is relevant.

Which airline you are flying with is also relevant. You can check the website of the airline and it will tell you what you need.

The same as any international travel from any other uk airport 🤔

What a strange question. OP have you ever flown ?

You need your passport and boarding pass.

If you’re travelling on Ryanair, make sure you print your boarding pass or download it onto your smartphone app before you get to the airport and read their baggage policy VERY carefully. It changes all the time, and you are very likely to be charged £££ if you don’t comply.

Enjoy your trip!

Only other document you could possibly need would be a visa, but that would only apply if you are a non EU citizen or a no deal Brexit happens before you travel.

That's for the actual travel part. You do have travel insurance and an EHIC card?

If you are unsure about anything, I recommend studying the Ryanair and Stansted websites, so you are aware of baggage, liquid rules etc. For example, having never travelled from Standsted, I had no idea about the train from the departure lounge to the gate.
