Its Friday, the weather is beautiful.

I'm sat um the garden with one too many purple violet gin and tonics and my DP is alseeo on the sofa for a pre-skittles nap!

I'm bored, someone entertain me! What are we all doing?!

DS is absolutely wonderful, he makes my heart burst with joy.

He is a little grouchy today though which isn’t like him as I’m on antibiotics and they’re upsetting his tummy.

@iamnotpatient I would consider adopting you but the fact that you are TTC puts me off, I’m not ready to be a granny 😂 DS has to be dragged off his x-box but when he is he is actually good company and very interesting to chat to, he is a history nerd and teaches me a lot!!

Looking at a rose vegetable tart. How difficult could it be to make? I could make it tomorrow to serve cold Monday.

Update: suddenly really really need a new, I live in a one bathroom house and DP is taking another 3 hour shower!

I've been catching up on house work, washing etc, me and my DP just had chilli and rice, sitting on sofa with a glass of wine, with everything done i'll be spending tomorrow in the garden( sitting not working)

I’ve got a bottle of gin rhubarb liqueur I was given as a present, it’s had one glass tried and then shoved to the back of the cupboard in disgust. I’ve gone for a cold beer

My concrete yard is never visited except for the (admittedly extremely useful) clothes line. I still haven’t managed to clear the very last bag of soggy leaves away as there’s a huge tree on the other side that I can’t see but generously gives me most of its leaves.

Bored bored, have you been to the indoor market in Shrewsbury? Fab food.

I'm hovering around in the kitchen while the ragu sauce I cooked simmers. Probably needs another hour before the spaghetti goes on.

Dh is working for tomorrow's shift on his laptop in the sitting room.

Dd is revising upstairs.

Have had a very nice good Friday featuring much outdoor plant nurturing and mucking about with my teeny tiny greenhouse.

Sounds like a lovely relaxed day tomorrow! I'm off to do a carboot in monmouthshire. Hopefully the weather is good enough so I can catch a slight tan for my pasty body!

The hot cross bun cheesecake has a base made with cinnamon biscuits and mixed peel. They are individual ones baked and the marked with crosses when chilled.

gggrrrargh I found out last weekend that the way to drink rhubarb gin is with dry ginger. Even better if your Ds makes it for you.

I've been sailing with DH.

We both had a laugh as we left the marina at some people on another boat in full wet weather gear. Got a few miles down the Blackwater in shorts and t shirts before succumbing to the fleece and then a few more miles for the full coats! Was very cold out at sea and not the nice 12 knot winds we were promised ( 25 more like) Sea was very lumpy! Anyway we arrived at our destination and are now sitting on the deck enjoying a drink! Pootling off down the Deben tomorrow - hope it's a bit calmer!

Aw thanks I’m not sad it’s just been so long since I’ve been on my own I don’t know what to do. I cleaned the oven 😀but wine now. Cheers and happy Easter

I went for drinking it a) neat and b) with an attitude of a suspicious toddler being given a new vegetable so it was doomed from the beginning!

Brigit Sailing, fabulous! What a lovely day for it. Wonder where these places are... Did a bit of boating with OH last week and going to visit his boat again soon. I miss it already! Lumpy sea sounds a bit scary. Enjoy the deck!
