How does this Easter bunny thing work??

Ok so my 8yo DS2 has decided that this year he'd like the Easter bunny to come (usually it's us who give him and DS1 an egg each).
What do we do - do we leave something out for it, like with Santa? Do we leave the Easter egg at the end of the bed?
Any tips would be welcome!
Thanks 💕

We do it simple. The easter bunny brings one £1.50 egg that I got for 75p when they were on offer and a Cadbury £1 bunny each dc. Everything else is from the person who gave it.

I'd never realised the Easter Bunny was a 'thing when DS was small until DS told me that neighbour's child had told him about it. From then on I used to leave his Easter egg at the end of his bed! Egg hunts were always set by me and subject to the weather!

Until this year I've literally handed their Easter eggs to them. Looking forward to doing something different this year 😀

I’ve always done an Easter egg hunt, if it’s not raining and I can get up before them, in the garden. Otherwise round the house. They loved it when they were little and DS1 used to ask for a treasure hunt his birthday as well.

They’re teens now, so I don’t really hide them anymore.

This is one of the only things dh is in charge of.
We have four dc and it's ridiculous, the bunny he hides the large eggs around the house and writes clues for each child you are NOT allowed to take someone else's egg. After everyone has found their "clue eggs" it's a free for all to put as many little eggs as you can find in your bucket.
The kids get so ridiculously excited it's very sweet.

I just lay ours out in the living room a la Santa. DC know the ones from family & then the Easter Bunny leaves a chocolate bunny, a film and an Easter related teddy each for them.

The Easter bunny is shy, and doesn't like meeting people unless s/he already knows them, so the children and I stay in the sitting room with the door shut while DP goes out to guide the bunny. He hides eggs all over the garden. In recent years, he's also left some extra eggs for the children to hide for the adults.

Easter bunny just leaves a chocolate egg on the kitchen table! He's a bit of a cheapskate and tends to buy whatever egg is on offer in Sainsbury's! Mummy and daddy buy a nicer one that ds chooses! Bunny is busy and doesn't bother to do an Easter Egg hunt in our house (we tend to go out to one of the local ones though.). The first year we did it ds was only 2, he had heard about the Easter bunny at nursery and was very insistent that because he was a bunny he would bring carrots. Had to look everywhere for chocolate carrots! Fortunately he'd forgotten that by the next year.
